Announcement from the Nazeing Luncheon Club: 
Nazeing Luncheon Club monthly meetings are cancelled until further notice due to the sudden closure of the Highland restaurant.
The Essex County Council election scheduled to take place on 1 May was suspended in February due to the proposed Local Government Reform and the creation of an Essex Mayor.
Blue-lidded recycling bins coming soon – Making recycling even easier
The new blue-lidded recycling bin replaces both the clear recycling sacks and blue box currently used for recycling paper, plastic containers, tins and cans, and glass bottles and jars.
The rollout of the new bin begins in June. Residents can start using the new bin as soon as they receive it. It will be delivered in stages during June and July to limit disruption to collections. Blocks of flats will not get the new bins as they use communal bins for their recycling.
